I'm Joy, founder of Joy Hindmoor Jewellery. I am a self-taught jeweller based in Hackney, London. My independent jewellery business started as a 2020 lockdown hobby, where I spent most of my time watching countless YouTube videos and experimenting with some copper wire my Dad found in his toolbox. I was captivated by the art of jewellery making and this is where I began.

Each of my handmade designs uses solely precious stones and metals that are carefully formed into sculptural art forms, focusing on the freedom of shape, pattern, colour, and the cohesiveness between these artistic elements.

I am constantly looking for new challenges to develop my craft which has led me to introduce the use of gemstones, lost-wax carving, casting, gold plating, and the teaching of jewellery workshops into my practice.
